When I was a youngster living in California, the prices to pick up marijuana were terribly high.
It honestly wasn’t legal medically or recreationally back during that time, but it was fairly easy to find marijuana anywhere.
When my friends and I went to the skate park, every one of us regularly had access to pot. I left California when I was in my twenties and I didn’t return until more recently. The price of recreational marijuana is way cheaper than the pot I was accessing in my younger years. It is also much more potent. I moved to the bay section near San Francisco. I live straight outside of the city. I can access all of the amazing nightlife that San Francisco offers without much of the crowds and traffic. I work for a packaging and shipping supplier outside of San Francisco. It’s substantially cheaper to live close to work, but I do care about going to the city area to visit the zoo or the park or the bay bridge. All of these places are excellent for spending the afternoon and walking… San Francisco has even more things to do than when I was young. I appreciate spending the afternoon on the water. The lovely smell of the salt water is nice and catching a glimpse of a whale is a sign of nice luck. There are 100’s of fantastic diners, deli’s, pubs, and bars around the community and several odd delicious cuisines to try. Of course, Chinatown has the best pork dumplings and calamari. I rarely get to go to Chinatown, but no trip is actually complete without trying the pork dumplings.
