My friends and I went to Denver, CO for the weekend. The people I was with and I saw a genuinely fascinating video online and it made us want to travel to Denver. The video was pretty much a golfing amateur hitting a ball over 400 yards off the professional tee. He was saying that the ball would always travel farther due to the very high elevation and altitude. Of course, my friends and I thought it was completely bogus and we were ready to prove that statement wrong! I had a few points on my debit card and I decided to use them for a coach ticket to Denver, CO. My friends and I made reservations on the weekend to play golf at a few of the premier places. The people I was with and I also made reservations on Sunday in the morning hours at the most costly resort in all of Denver. My best buddy Joey thought it might be a great idea to visit the cannabis shop before we opted to go to the golf links. Recreational marijuana is legal in the state of CO and it has been since 2012. I wasn’t actually too thrilled about smoking cannabis, but I wasn’t going to be the only person telling everybody no. The people I was with and I stopped at a recreational dispensary to purchase a pre-rolled marijuana joint. The people I was with and I smoked it in the parking lot before we got going with golfing. I was basically ready to eat before we hit the second hole. The marijuana joint made me terribly hungry and thirsty. I ate 3 bags of pretzels from the store nearby and 2 serious burgers after we were finished with the 18th hole. The people I was with and I had a pretty wonderful trip to Denver that weekend.
