I needed to have a portable heater for the longest time when I went on a road trip.
I loved to travel and preferred doing it on the road.
I felt it gave me so much freedom to explore at my pace since no one hurried me. I had been on the road for years, and I was not planning to stop it any time soon. I worked as a freelance writer/nature photographer and owned several travel blogs that paid my bills and allowed me to enjoy a pleasant lifestyle. I started doing this right from campus, and there was no way I was going back. I told stories through my camera lens and the inspiring words of the new people I met everywhere I went. However, it is not always all joy and glory. Sometimes when the weather gets too cold, I suffer since the heater in my truck is not sufficient. These are the seasons that I creep back to my parent’s home until the hot Florida weather passes before I get back on track. However, I planned to travel longer distances, and I did not want to shorten my travels. My dad advised me to get a portable AC/heater that would work whenever extreme weather hit the Tampa Bay, Florida area. He helped me pick one online. It was to be delivered to my parent’s house. However, when it arrived, it was not the type that would work for automobiles, which I needed. Fortunately, the company had a one-month return policy. When I wrote to them, they asked me to send it back, and after three days, I got the right heater. The freedom it allowed me was close to none. I now travel whenever I want and only get back home when I plan to and not as a necessity.
