The Winter season weather in Denver is downright cold and temperatures get to almost below zero. Average snow mornings range from 10 to 12 days a year. My family and I live on the outskirts of Denver and the Winter season storms can be hard to handle. The people I was with and I often experience blizzard conditions such as heavy wind gusts and extreme amounts of snow. The altitude in Denver is one mile above sea level, and much higher than other major cities in the country. It’s one of the reasons for our different temperature and heavy Winter season accumulation. When the weather turns colder, I give the oil furnace a thorough cleaning and examination. Denver is one of the coldest cities in the Winter season, and you cannot live comfortably without an oil furnace, boiler, or fireplace. The gas oil furnace gets a routine cleaning and inspection by a local professional. The Winter season hot and cold temperatures aren’t an issue with a superb heating source. I have lived here for 40 years and I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. The town is filled with fun and exciting things to do, bars, diners, and parks. When the weather isn’t snowy and cold, I take the ladies to the town to enjoy some of the outdoor attractions that are absolutely free of charge! Red Rocks is a nice venue to have a picnic or go hiking or see a concert. If we want to stay indoors every one of us go to the children’s museum. With three kids, I have to be concerned about money and budget for the day. One interest can cost more than 2 hundred dollars by the time every one of us pay for parking, the interest, and supper or a snack. It’s nice that Denver offers some family fun activities that don’t cost a dime.
