From 1967 until 1974, the Denver basketball team was known as the Rockets. After 1974, the Denver team was known as the Nuggets. This is still the name of the team in 2021. The Denver Nuggets play in the ball arena. This arena was previously known as the Pepsi Center. It is a very large venue located in downtown Denver, Colorado. The arena can hold up to 18,000 people at maximum capacity. My friend scored tickets to see a Nuggets game and he had extra passes for all of us. The four of us went to a recreational dispensary before the game. We smoked a pre-rolled marijuana joint before going to the venue. We waited outside the venue for 15 minutes and then we found out that the game was delayed. There was a problem with the heating and air conditioning system inside of the arena and the game was delayed until they could fix the problem. My friends and I decided to go back to the car. We had a couple more marijuana joints from the dispensary. None of the marijuana joints were sativa strains, and my eyes were heavy and tired by the time the game started. Thank goodness there was plenty of action to keep me awake. The game was delayed, but it was still a nail-biter. It came down to the final play of the game. The Nuggets were successful in defeating their rival and the score ended with our team winning 102-99.
