My friends and I grew up in an area with four distinct seasons.
During the winter months, we often had snow.
My friends and I spent time skiing, snowmobiling, and sledding. When my friends and I were in our twenties, we decided to go to Denver so we could ski at some of the resorts. My friends and I saved our money for months so we could spend a week in Denver. We made reservations to stay at a cabin close to the Keystone Resort. Keystone was a ski resort in Denver with a lot of great reviews. It was the closest resort to the city as well. We went skiing some days and we went down to the city of Denver a couple of days as well. I knew it was going to be very cold, so I packed a lot of cold weather clothing like mittens, hats, earmuffs, and a heavy jacket. My friend Jack was not very concerned with the weather. He did not pack as many items as me, because he did not want to pay for a checked bag on the plane. Our cabin was warm and the place was equipped with central Heating and a fireplace. When we were inside of the cabin, we didn’t have to worry about the cold air. Unfortunately, it was in the single digits most of the time we were in the area and Jack was extremely cold without a heavy winter jacket and a pair of gloves. He had to go to Denver on the second day and purchase the items. The guy totally underestimated the altitude and cold weather.
