Stop at one of the many museums in Denver if you need a warm place to visit in winter

The first date I went on with my wife was to an art museum that was next door to our college campus.

We were in a literature class together and started sitting next to one another and chatting on a regular basis.

It was clear that we had a lot of shared interests from the start. We read a lot of the same authors, listened to the same bands, and loved many of the same movies as well. Despite us getting two different degrees, we both ended up at the University of Colorado in Denver for graduate school. By then I was studying Geology and wanted to get to a beautiful location within the mountains. My wife finished her undergraduate education in anthropology and wanted to be at the epicenter of so many different Native American tribe lands. Beyond our love for our school, we also fell in love with the Denver area and its surrounding communities. When we wanted to rekindle our love by repeating our very first date, we were pleasantly shocked to learn that there are so many different museums in Denver alone. If it’s winter you can’t find a better place to spend an afternoon because the furnaces will be running at full blast. Last week we stopped at a cannabis dispensary in South Park Hill to get marijuana edibles on our way to the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. Our plan was to eat the marijuana edibles in the car before heading into the museum for a few hours. It was a wonderful afternoon and our cannabis edibles were pleasantly potent as well!
