A patron called the help line last evening and left a voice message! The patron was seriously difficult to understand, and i tried our best to make out the message. I could hear the lady telling me that the problem was the A/C unit, but I did not hear most of her phone number or her name. I knew she would mentioned Orland Park, which is a small suburb outside of Chicago, but orland Park is an area that the two of us service. I tried to match the phone number with a single of our existing purchasers, but I didn’t have any luck. I hoped the patron would call again! Around 10:30 in the afternoon, I saw another phone number on the caller ID from Orland Park. I hoped it was the same patron calling again. I answered the phone and the lady on the line started yelling and screaming. She demanded to guess where the repair corporation was to repair her A/C unit. I asked the lady certainly politely to calm down. I asked her if she had an appointment. She told me that she left a message on the answering repair and then I knew the lady was the person the two of us were trying to reach. I calmly told the lady that her message was too difficult to understand. I told her that the two of us had a repair corporation sitting by and the two of us would send someone instantly. After the lady realized that the problem was a straight-forward miscommunication error, she stopped yelling and asked me to send someone as soon as possible.
