My friends and I went surfing in Tampa Bay last week, however i was gleeful to try out a modern surfboard, then my friends and I live life dangerously and on the edge, however even though there was a tropical storm warning off the coast, the people I was with and I were not going to stay in the office and miss out on those many and 10 ft waves… When you live on the Gulf of Mexico, you rarely see waves of that size.
- I didn’t have to work on that afternoon and my friends and I left early in the afternoon to go to the beach.
I had my board in hand and my friends and I paddled out about a quarter of a mile. When the people I was with and I finally got to a fantastic place for surfing, the rain started to fall… The storm clouds came out of nowhere and covered the entire Tampa Bay and Clearwater beach region. I was determined to catch a wave, but none of my friends started to head and as soon as the rain started. I found the perfect wave and started from a fantastic position! Unfortunately, a gust of wind came out of nowhere and knocked me off my brand modern board. I tumbled in the waves for a while. I was more scared than I have ever been in my life! After the accident, the people I was with and I opted to go back to Tampa Bay and I decided to stay at my apartment. I laid down on the couch for a while and eventually I fell asleep. I woke up to the sound of mice in the A/C vents. I assume the mice are there, although I cannot catch them. I’ve been listening to them in the HVAC duct for weeks. I set a couple of traps inside the HVAC duct, however those mice are quick.
