I have been smoking pot since I was 13 years old. I think it’s pretty interesting that it is legal in some places, but not in others. I live about an hour outside of San Francisco. I moved here when I was 22 years old. That was the year that cannabis became legal for recreational consumption. I packed up everything I could fit into my four door sedan and I drove all the way. I only stopped two times to rest for a couple of hours. I had cold drinks in a cooler and enough beef jerky and trail mix for a week. I went to a cannabi shop as soon as I crossed the border. I knew some friends living near San Francisco, so I headed in that direction first. I wanted to live in the city, but the price of rent was totally out of control. Even the efficiency apartments were two grand a month. I found a place for rent about an hour outside of San Francisco. I met some really fun and interesting people and I have awesome neighbors. Once a month, we all go for a picnic at golden gate park. It’s one of the prettiest places to visit in the city. Golden gate park has the most amazing views and photo spots. It’s also the perfect place to sit and have a picnic. My favorite spot overlooks the federal penitentiary called “The Rock”. Alcatraz island is a really neat place with a long and detailed history that makes for an interesting tour. I’ve been there a couple of different times.
