The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C repair crew at the Orland Park office did $100,000 worth of sales last week… That was 20% higher than any other week in the history of the company! It was double the amount of any other store in the midwest! One reason was a pressing commercial installation job that took numerous days to complete… Both of us had several techs laboring on the commercial installation job in Orland Park. The boys worked from daylight up until sundown to complete the project within the tied up and permitted time frame. The employer believed that was the a single reason why the sales were so high and everyone in the corporate office was totally and completely impressed. In fact, every one of us decided to send a bunch of pizzas to the Orland Park Heating, Ventilation, and A/C repair office. On Wednesday, the corporate office sent 10 pizzas to the repair office. The pizza girl showed up around noon with our order. She was supposed to bring 10 pieces, although she easily brought 13. The girl told me that she messed up on a couple of the pizzas. Instead of throwing them in the garbage, she decided to bake them and send them to the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C repair office. The boys on the crew were gleeful to come back to the office to like free pizza, then as the repair servicemans were finishing up with the day jobs, they all came back to the office to get a warm piece of pizza for supper. The crew members thought it was a nice gesture from the corporate office and everyone enjoyed the mid day break from work.
