Rocklin, California is a city located in the Sacramento area.
Rocklin has a population of around $60,000 people. It is easily one of the largest cities in the Sacramento Valley area. The climate in Rocklin is characterized by wet winters and dry summers. The average summer temperatures are in the ’90s, but this past year, we endured temperatures that were over 100°. Even though Rocklin, California is a pretty place to live and work, it isn’t easy to deal with those hot summer temperatures. My family and I have a state of the art heating and cooling system. We see cold temperatures during the winter because of our elevation. During the summer, we often have to worry about the extremely hot temperatures. Our AC system includes two separate air handlers. We can adjust the temperatures on these air handlers so the different parts of the house are different temperatures. We used to have kids in the upstairs area of the house, but since they went to college, the upstairs bedrooms have been completely empty. There really is no reason for my wife and I to heat and cool the upstairs bedrooms when there is no one there. Having two separate air handlers means that we can keep the temperatures warmer upstairs while only paying a fortune to cool the main area of the house. There are some really big houses here in California. I don’t know how some of those houses stay cool in the summer. It must cost thousands of dollars to run the AC all day and all night.
