I’m thrilled my dad does not toil as difficult as he did when I was a kid, however he used to toil as a repairman plus he would be gone six mornings a week from day until after my sister plus I went to sleep, then we did not get to see dad unless it was summer time vacation… About 5 years ago, my dad got a promotion plus odd task working at the commercial Heating, Ventilation plus A/C upgrade company in Lakeland, FL, but the task put him in an office instead of out in the field working. My dad has to go on contractor trips now when there is a contract that needs to be drawn up, signed, or worked out. My dad was on the west coast for a couple of mornings plus I went to pick him up from the airport in Lakeland last night. It was Friday night plus the worst night of the week for traveling in the city. My dad wanted to get property before the weekend was over so he could see my mom plus spend Mother’s Day with her. He wasn’t supposed to come property till Monday although I picked him up from the airport on Friday so he could surprise my mom. It took almost 90 minutes to get from the airport in Lakeland back to our house. We sat in standstill traffic for nearly 30 minutes after an accident happened on the freeway right near Lake Parker.
