There are so many museums!

Ever since going to see museums for extra assignments in class, I have grown fond of them.

It doesn’t matter if it’s a museum of natural history or an art gallery, I love to grab a friend and spend a few minutes roaming the endless halls.

It’s easily special taking a glimpse into the past with the artifacts on show inside. When I was a child going to school in Alberta, Canada, we used to visit the natural history museums in Edmonton and Calgary, and my number one part about these field trips was getting to see the large dinosaur bones. In Canada many woolly mammoth bones have been found and there is no shortage of them in natural history museums from the pacific coast to the atlantic shoreline. These towering creatures existed until the Holocene epoch when they went extinct, the last in a long line of mammoth species existing on Earth. When I moved to Toronto from Alberta, I was shocked by the complete number of museums in the city. For instance, there is the Scarborough Museum, the Ontario Science Center, the Canadian Language Museum, the Royal Ontario Museum, and The Black Museum to name just a few. Recently my close neighbor Ian and I decided to get high with a cannabis vaporizer pen before spending a Friday morning at the Aga Khan Museum. This amazing museum showcases Islamic and Persian art and is a showcase of Muslim culutre. I enjoyed walking the halls after a few hits off a cannabis vaporizer pen. It’s even better enjoying Toronto’s many museums when you can stash a cannabis vaporizer pen in your bag.

I travel a lot

Taking a job that forces me to travel a bunch was tough at first. I know many people that would have loved a career where you get to see other states and countries to the degree that I do, but I’m a homebody who rarely traveled as a kid. My family never took cross-country road trips to see relatives or go on getaways to theme parks. That’s why it was a sizable change for me to suddenly start traveling so much for a single job. However, it honestly forced me out of my shell and made it easier for me to talk to people that I don’t already assume personally. I was also able to travel internationally for the first time. One of my number one places to visit is Canada because of recreational cannabis being legal in all provinces. I can get off a method and take a taxi ride to a dispensary and then back to my hotel where I can love my cannabis products in peace. My next work trip to Canada is coming up in a few afternoons and I’m harshly excited. I’ll be going to see Toronto for the first time and I have a lot of activities planned while in my downtime minutes outside of task meetings. I want to see the CN Tower just like everyone else, but I also want to take a boat to the Toronto Islands if I can get away for an entire morning. It’s an attractive area, especially if you own a sailboat or kayak. I assume that other people would rather walk around the city and shop, however I’m excited about getting cannabis products from a dispensary and going to see natural attractions like some of the beaches of Lake Ontario. You can actually conceal a cannabis vaporizer pen in sites like Woodbine Beach Park.

Conference in my area

It’s hard having a precious genetic disorder, but if it isn’t even worked on yet.

  • I spent far too many years going to dentists who provided me puzzled looks.

It wasn’t until I saw a specialist in another state that I was finally given a typical diagnosis and a quality drug-treatment plan. Although our health has improved over the years, I still struggle with symptoms on a yearly basis. Thankfully the meds have improved over time, but I’m always looking at up-to-date treatments when they’re available. That’s why I prefer to visit the annual international conference for people with our precious genetic disorder. A lot of the conference is dominated by drug industry representatives trying to advertise up-to-date medication treatments, however occasionally they’re particularly good. My health improved considerably after switching to 1 of the medications that was released in the past few years. And it was at this annual international conference where I first learned about this amazing drug. This year the conference is being held in the amazing lakeside city, Toronto, Ontario. To be honest, this will be our first time going to see Canada. I had to replace our passport and bring our COVID vaccine information card. I’m staying at a hotel near the CN Tower, which I visited on our first day in Toronto. Seeing the town from thoUSAnds of feet above was amazing, especially after getting stoned on cannabis products. I stopped at the closest dispensary that I could find as soon as I got to Toronto. I bought cannabis vaporizer cartridges because they’re so easy to conceal in public.

Walking around after school

Since I grew up in MI, our initial idea was to attend school at the University of MI in Ann Arbor. My family raised me in a small town outside of Ann Arbor and the people I was with and I drove by the campus consistently whenever we’d drive into town to shop at a mall or big department store. It wasn’t a matter of getting accepted that made it impossible to attend that school. In fact, I was accepted immediately after I applied. But, the in-state tuition was still too high for me to handle, even with the scholarships that I had gotten. I am a visual artist and had several scholarships from competitions that I had won during our teen years. Since there was a special art program at the St. George campus of the University of Toronto, I also applied there. When I was accepted, I wasn’t expecting an offer that would reduce our tuition by roughly 80% if I decided to be a student of the University of Toronto. I accepted their offer and began preparing to be a Canadian citizen for the first time, which involved getting a passport and a school visa. Walking around Toronto with our parents for the first time was a great experience. The people I was with and I got to see the CN Tower, and of course the gorgeous Queen’s Park right outside the University of Toronto school campus. While I was a student, I spent many evenings hanging around Queen’s Park with a lit cigarette, which is a joint with cannabis and tobacco mixed. Back then you had to buy all of your campus off the black market, however nowadays Toronto has over 200 legal cannabis dispensaries to shop at.

Taking a puff while walking the dog

I grew up in a family of dog owners.

The people I was with and I had a german shepherd when I was born and she lived another 11 years.

After she passed away, we had a beagle, dachshund, and huskey in that order. Now that I’m in our mid 20s living alone in the York town of Toronto, I have a dog of our own. He’s a pitbull and I adopted him when a close neighbor living in Quebec had a litter of pups and couldn’t get rid of them all. Although I wasn’t necessarily looking for a dog, let alone a large one, he was such a cute puppy that I couldn’t say no! I ended up naming him Matt after our neighbor Michael’s pitbull from back in school who had that name. Despite any concerns I might have once harbored regarding our ability to care for Matt, I’m extremely ecstatic that I adopted him because he gives me a sense of companionship that I didn’t have living 100% alone in our Toronto apartment. It’s also nice having a companion who doesn’t judge me for our cannabis use! Recreational cannabis is legal countrywide in Canada and I prefer going to see multiple dispensaries in Toronto. I have a dry-herb weed vaporizer that I prefer to throw in our pocket when I take our dog on walks in Cedarville Park. I take Arlington Ave until I get to the opening of the Park. Once I’m safely in the park and away from traffic, I get our cannabis vape out of our pocket and start taking puffs of vapor. I can’t think of a better way to sit at Toronto’s many parks than with a dry-herb weed vaporizer in your pocket and a cute dog at the end of a leash. Next week Matt can go with me to Sunnybrook Park in our car.

A weed themed b day

We were all admittedly surprised when our sister announced her engagement.

  • Her girl at the time had been going back and forth about wanting a long term relationship with my sister.

Apparently she finally told her after she provided her with a giant guilt-trip about their living situation. I do not care to say it, but I know she feared losing my sister and her home and having to live out of her car while trying to make it on her own. Hopefully marrying her isn’t a bargaining chip to prevent her from leaving her. Still, I am trying to be supportive of our sister. That’s why I went to her birthday but I wasn’t supportive of her decision to marry that woman. The people I was with and I all live in Toronto and the whole country has had legal recreational cannabis for three years now. Although our sister had expressed a desire to get married at the Casa Loma castle for years now, we only found out at the last minute that she intended it to be a weed-infused bash. I’m a big time cannabis user, but I don’t think how our older relatives from rural areas in Ontario are going to assume about blunts and joints being handed out along with cocktails. They bought the weed from a variety of cannabis dispensaries around Toronto and Scarborough. I heard they were going to offer marijuana drinks as well. Although I was gleeful to visit the 18th century castle Casa Loma for the first time as a birthday guest, not even the added factor of cannabis consumption can get me gleeful for their dreadful birthday.

Ice rinks and smoking in the bathrooms

Growing up in Ontario, our family consistently went ice skating in the winter season.

When I was particularly young there was an outdoor arena in our small town that we’d frequent, but after moving to Toronto the people I was with and I started going to indoor skating rinks around the city.

Most of our friends in middle school and high school would hang out at the ice skating rinks because the cost of admission was so low at the time. There were usually arcades inside the ice skating rinks as well, and we’d often find our friends from school in the arcade, the tiny steakhouses inside, or out on the ice rinks. Even though I’m much older now, I still prefer going ice skating when I can get time away from the job. It’s particularly refreshing feeling the rush of freezing air being on the ice, especially with the feeling of gliding that accompanies it. Recently our lady and I decided to spend our date evening at the Scarborough Civic Center ice skating for a few minutes. But before going to the Scarborough Civic Center, the people I was with and I stopped at a cannabis dispensary near Sherwood Park on Blythwood Rd. We bought disposable cannabis vape pens so the people I was with and I could conceal them heading into the ice skating rink at the Scarborough Civic Center. The people I was with and I decided to take hits off our pens in the separate male and female powder rooms instead of risking it in plain sight. Since they had outlawed nicotine vaporizers in the Civic Center, the people I was with and I didn’t want to press our fortune with our cannabis vaporizers. Recreational cannabis might be legal in Toronto and the rest of Canada, but that doesn’t mean you can use it in any dealer or public spot. There are clear restrictions written into the Cannabis Act of Canada.

I will always pick home

Little things care about that are why I care about Seattle so much, because it’s more than a place, it’s a mood

Seattle is not for most groups, as well as that’s a smart thing! Above all else, the Jet City has a vibe, it has character, as well as that means it’s perfect for some people, but not for others. When I moved here with my long-time partner, he started getting upset. It turns out that the sunny days as well as high temps of the south were more conducive to his mood, as well as the bleak clouds as well as frequent showers of the Pacific Northwest made him guess sad. It was a difficult separation, but at that point I already knew that I would let him go before I let Seattle go. I might have been born as well as bred in the deep south, but it turns out I was regularly a Seattle boy at heart. The sunset isn’t clear in Seattle every evening, but the ones all of us do get are spectacular. One of my number one things is to stop by a single of the great local cannabis dispensaries as well as get a pre-rolled joint to smoke on the shore of the Puget Sound. A headful of locally grown Seattle cannabis as well as the sight of the afternoon light sinking into the Pacific ocean is enough to make me guess poetry in my heart. Little things care about that are why I care about Seattle so much, because it’s more than a place, it’s a mood. Call me weird if you must, I’ve dumped partners for Seattle before, so not much can change me at this point. That’s another positive that I get from smoking this amazing locally grown weed, better known as the Seattle sativa.

Enjoying my heart

It’s great to live anywhere that appreciates art.

  • You have to understand that this is all new to me, as well as the urban life of Seattle is the home I regularly wanted, but it still takes some getting used to.

I grew up in a small midwestern town, where the most overpriced thing about education was high school football. Anyone who wasn’t an athlete didn’t go to school, or do anything other than work on a ranch. I wanted to be a journalist, or an artist, or a writer, or even a painter. So you can only imagine how refreshing it was to transport to a stadium like Seattle, WA. For decades Seattle has been a beacon for artists of all stripes, as well as I felt welcomed as soon as I moved here. That said, there is a lot of competition in all the artistic pursuits, so it’s difficult to make a living with your art in Seattle at the start. I had to build up my skill set, as well as my reputation in the Seattle art scene, so to make ends meet in the meantime I started working in a cannabis dispensary. The only scene more vibrant around here than the art scene is the cannabis industry, which is thriving. There are even several Seattle dispensaries that will showcase local artists on their walls! Alas, the dispensary where I work doesn’t do that, but maybe if I’m persistent enough they will start. I care about my work, but if I want to make it in the Seattle art world I need to start getting my work out there where people can see it.

Moving from the dispensary

I moved to this city because I heard it was a great place to make some cash.

The small towns in WA are honestly great if you want to get lost as well as step away from humanity for a while.

There are millions of acres of trees as well as woods where you can find tiny houses as well as clusters of land. As tranquil as well as peaceful as this may be, for a younger person who is ambitious as well as wants to make money, it is not that ideal. As soon as I had graduated high school as well as saved up a few hundred bucks, I drove 200 miles to start over in Seattle, WA. My first work was at a cannabis dispensary, which at that point had been my dream work for years. As an avid cannabis user, I thought that working at a dispensary would be the perfect fit. The fact that the dispensary was in Seattle made it all the sweeter, as well as for a couple of years I was enjoying my work. The problem came not because the work switched, but I realized I didn’t want to be middle aged as well as still working as a Seattle budtender. I still kept my work at the dispensary, but also started taking evening classes at the Seattle tech trade school. I wanted to stay in Seattle, because it felt like home, but working at the dispensary would only take me so far in life. Eighteen weeks later I got my certification in HVAC repair, as well as started working for a local Seattle contractor. Sometimes I miss working at the dispensary.
