I decided to move to California when I was offered a wonderful job in the San Francisco area.
My salary was just above the national average, but it was difficult to find an affordable apartment in San Francisco. I looked for an apartment in the Haight-Ashbury District. This is a wonderful place that has been called home by Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, and other famous musicians and artists. The area has everything you might need from clothing shops to groceries. Another area in San Francisco known as The Lone Mountain is close to the University of San Francisco. The mountain has beautiful views of the city, but it didn’t have a lot of cannabis shops. Having a close dispensary was very important to me, because that was one of the reasons that I decided to move to California in the first place. I found a wonderful job, but I use cannabis regularly. I was not living in a state with legal medical or recreational Cannabis, so it was a giant perk to find a job in a state with legal cannabis laws. I ultimately decided to move to an area known as inner Richmond. This is close to the California Academy of Science and the Japanese tea garden. The area covers more than 50 city blocks and has a rich and diverse Community. Although the rent is a little higher than other areas around the San Francisco Bay Area, there are plenty of cannabis shops within walking distance to my apartment. One of my favorite places offers ten percent off every Monday for online orders.
