My friends and I listen to the radio every afternoon on our commute to work… Most of the time the people I was with and I listen to the athletic interests channel, but they deliver all the highlights from the games and talk about all of the latest news in athletic interests, however last week the people I was with and I were listening to the athletic interests station and they had a radio contest for tickets to a Portland Trail Blazers game, then jack started calling as soon as he heard the special ring for callers to contact the station, however he called many times and was not successful.
The next afternoon, the people I was with and I listened to the radio at the same time, hoping they would deliver away another set of Portland Trail Blazers tickets.
Sure enough, the radio station offered 2 additional tickets to the Portland Trail Blazers game on Wednesday night. Jack won the tickets this time and the people I was with and I picked them up from the radio station later that afternoon. The radio station is on the north side of town, it is located right next door to a recreational and medical marijuana dispensary. Most of the Portland marijuana dispensaries are located outside of town. I’m not sure if the neighborhood has an ordinance or high taxes, however it’s clear that the dispensary owners do not care about to be in the middle of the city! Both of us went to the game together on Wednesday and it was a actually close game. In the third quarter it was 92 to 96, however the game had to end early due to a confrontation in the stands. They sent everyone home and ended the game with the final score being tied at 100 points apiece. It was really the worst thing that I have ever seen. Both of us did not get to see the rest of the game and some idiot ruined the experience for all of us.
