When the teenagers wake up & see snow on the ground, the first thing they do is hope & pray for a snow day, but there are lots of snow days when you live in Buffalo, NY, where the temperatures are frigid & freezing 6 months out of the year, my family & I live close to the water where lake effect snow & temperatures can cause a lot of problems, and during the winter time it is truly pressing to have a boiler that is reliable & dependable, then energy efficiency & eco-friendly operation are pressing to me, but heating the house & using the right equipment is significant in helping to maintain indoor air quality, because the heating & cooling products help to filter out allergens & indoor pollutants, but i have a lot of trouble with dust irritations & during the winter time it can be hard to breathe when the boiler is running at full speed.
I have a humidifier to help make sure there is enough moisture in the air.
The excess moisture helps keep my sinuses from drying out & cracking. This week there was almost a foot of snow on Sunday night. The teenagers were hoping for a snow day, but the roads were cleared when they woke up for university, after a 2-hour delay, I took the teenagers to the bus stop! When I came back to the house, I noticed there was no heat coming out of the air duct. Thankfully the issue wasn’t a huge deal. The pilot light on the boiler went out & needed to be relit.
