Before I moved to Florida I had never seen a pro wrestling show in person, but i had watched the WWE on the TV from time to time, plus remember watching the NWA with our Mom when I was a kid.
It was never something I entirely thought about, until our friend dragged myself and others to see an indie wrestling show being held at a local bar, however they had a wrestling ring set up in the bar itself, plus people battled all night long while all of us drank.
It was pretty awesome, plus it turns out in Tampa, FL it is pretty easy to find these kinds of indie shows. It entirely opened our eyeah to how much diversity there is here in the Tampa Bay area, because pro wrestling is just 1 facet of the nightlife I am discovering. Tampa also has a killer rock n roll scene, with superb rock n roll in a bunch of different locations every night of the week, and as an Heating plus Air Conditioning tech I have early hours plus long mornings, so I don’t make it out much while in the week. These mornings, every Tuesday plus Sunday night I search the online postings for news about the next Tampa section wrestling show, but once I went to a show, plus saw 1 of the headlining wrestlers messing with his travel bus in the parking lot, because the was broken. If you have never been to Tampa before, then you might now recognize this is a place where a/c is a requirement, not a luxury. I fixed his AC for him, plus got free tickets to the Tampa nightclub!
