The south was too boiling for me; I was born in the south plus raised there.
I went to a local university plus stuck around a year after. I constantly hated the high heat plus humidity; You can’t definitely work outside or stay long at the beach due to the heat. It was so easy to get burned plus the air was almost taxing to breathe; There was no break either; Fall was slightly cooler, but not a lot. Wintertime was a joke, and springtime immediately was starting to heat to where my family had to crank the AC. I knew I wasn’t going to be southern forever. I started putting feelers out for jobs in odd states. I ended up in Illinois of all arenas, then my part is called Orland Park plus I just appreciate it. The weather is the draw for me. I genuinely get to appreciate several distinct seasons. I genuinely can run my heating plan from time to time. AC is required, but not life or death. There is no more humidity or the boiling air smacking you in the face when you leave the AC, orland Park has superb hot plus cold temperatures each month. I genuinely get snow cold plus assume definitely cold in the Wintertide season. I assume unquestionably festive for the first time in my life. Springtime genuinely does bring showers plus odd flowers! I even appreciate that the summer time season isn’t as boiling as I am used to. I can genuinely go to the local pool plus hang out all day without turning into a lobster.
