When I accepted a job promotion, it required me to transfer to IL, while the office building is located in Chicago, I was unwilling to rent an high-priced home in the city, however i wanted a home & a yard.
I searched for properties for sale in the suburbs & found the perfect home in OrlandPark; My drive to labor is just under forty minutes, however the commute is worth it to me, and however, our first year in our new location was difficult, but coming from the south, I was not accustomed to the frigid & snow.
I was used to heat & humidity for the majority of the year. I didn’t even own boots, a heavy coat or an ice scraper. My former home wasn’t even equipped with a heating system. I moved in the fall, when the weather in Orland Park was just perfect. The increasing colors of the leaves were so beautiful; Although the nights were a bit cold, the morning was nice & warm. Just when I thought that the Winter wouldn’t be so bad, the temperature quickly plummeted into the teens. It started snowing & didn’t quit. I kept turning up the temperature control, trying to keep warm. When I opened our heating bill, I was shocked by the cost. I thought there was something wrong with the oil furnace. I called an HVAC contractor to service the oil furnace. He told me that the plan simply needed maintenance. He commanded adding a humidifier & gave me suggestions for how to tighten up the home & prevent waste. I enrolled into a maintenance program to keep the heating plan operating at peak efficiency & reliability.
