I live in Elgin, IL.
My family is a large time hockey family, we savor following the hockey season plus playoffs are a large deal to everyone.
What my pal and I do is try to get tickets to major games about once a month. We then pack in the car plus go to the rink to see the Chicago Blackhawks; They are doing better every year, and one of these years they are going to get the Stantley cup, and for now it is just easily ince to have a team to support, however chicago is only a forty minute drive! So my pal and I can save currency by taking the car or using an uber if my pal and I want to drink. The youngsters savor going to the rink plus getting nachos, pop, plus other snacks. My partner plus I savor having a activitys team my pal and I are both into. We all have our favorite players that my pal and I support plus cheer on. My guys are both in small time hockey leagues in Elgin. Once they get older plus a little better, I will move them into the Chicago leagues… I know they aren’t professional athlete level, however it is enjoyable that there are numerous skating chances for them. It is also nice that Elgin, IL mostly has cold weather. There is plenty of time to find ice, snow, plus chances to skate. The guys practice basically all year around plus even will play on the pond that freezes in our backyard. For us, the cold weather isn’t a large deal at all. It is entirely one of the reasons my pal and I like IL so much.
